Kirlin Mechanical Services, LLC is a diversified contracting organization which offers a wide range of essential plumbing and mechanical services throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Our clients include commercial buildings, government agencies, research facilities and educational institutions. Kirlin Mechanical Services, LLC offers operation and maintenance services for plumbing and mechanical systems.  We also provide renovation for mechanical systems.  

We are currently seeking for a Senior Project Sales Executive to join our team.   

Position Overview

Under direction, develop long-term customer relationships with assigned owner and contractor accounts.  Maximize account penetration of assigned accounts by serving the full spectrum of needs of the accounts with the full spectrum of Kirlin service offerings to capture majority share of account projects work.  Team with other account owners to capture all targeted project pursuits.  Seek for Kirlin to become the preferred solution provider of the assigned account by becoming a trusted advisor with account owners.  Ensure customer retention of assigned accounts.  Partner with the operations team to maximize profit generation from accounts through influence.  Utilize sales tools to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity in accounts.  Achieve annual sales plan, obtains and closes sales on a monthly basis.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build partnering relationships with the assigned accounts to drive the penetration of the service offerings.  Maintains frequent face-to-face contact with the customers who most directly influence penetration.  Actively listen, probe and identify concerns.  Address concerns and performance lapses.  Understand the customer's business and speak their language.  Develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.
  • With assigned owner accounts, consistently drive favorable Kirlin brand across all business units/lines.
  • Drive biding process and teams to insure all targeting opportunity projects are pursued.
  • Lead the team on individual projects based on account assignments.  Honor the credit split guidelines.
  • Develop relationships with internal operations and administrative staff to ensure customer satisfaction, and effectively address issues.
  • Keep management informed of progress and account status.  Leverage management with accounts, when and where appropriate.
  • Manage receivables balances in line with Kirlin objective and policies.
  • Lead the sales team by building and in fostering team relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.  Solicit support from and communicate effectively with internal staff.  Develop relationships with organization to exceed customers' expectations.  Own and facilitate the customer relationship.
  • Assist in the development of the team and business sales and marketing plans and strategies.  Aide in the implementation of these strategies and action plans.  Target new customers based on account management and market strategies.
  • Utilize applicable sales tools effectively (North Boundary) and CRM tool to plan and document progress as well as increase penetration of accounts.
  • Participate in professional organizations.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline preferred. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive field sales experience.
  • Excellent initiative, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time.
