Today, in addition to its core specialty trade, The Kirlin Group provides its clients with a full spectrum of construction services including design/build, construction management and fire protection services, both inside and outside the United States.

The Kirlin Group, LLC with corporate offices in Rockville, MD, has an immediate need for a Paralegal to work with the General Counsel.

Role Description:

The Paralegal reports to the General Counsel of Kirlin Professional Services, Inc. This position can work out of the Rockville, Maryland office.


  • Assist General Counsel with overall management of all upstream and downstream contract reviews
  • Assist General Counsel with review and negotiation of contract terms and conditions
  • Assist General Counsel with federal government compliance requirements
  • Assist General Counsel with claim preparation and dispute resolution
  • Primary responsibility for organizing and implementing electronic contract management system
  • Primary responsibility for updating and maintain subcontractor and vendor contract data base

Required education

 Bachelor's in Political Science, Accounting, Construction Management, or Engineering

Required Experience  

  • 3+ years working as a corporate or litigation paralegal in commercial Construction

Preferred Experience

  • experience with federal procurement preferred

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, and photocopiers.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Some travel may be required if deemed necessary.
