Job Description

Originally founded in 1960, The Kirlin Group began as a single trade contractor specializing in plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning. Today, in addition to its core specialty trade, The Kirlin Group provides its clients with a full spectrum of construction services including design/build, construction management and fire protection services, both inside and outside the United States.

The Kirlin Group, LLC with corporate offices in Rockville, MD, has an immediate need for a Contracts Manager.  The Contracts Manager will work closely with the General Counsel.

The Contracts Manager reports to the General Counsel of Kirlin Professional Services INC. This position can work out of the Rockville, Maryland, Raleigh, NC, or the Ft. Lauderdale office.


  • Overall management of all upstream and downstream contract reviews
  • Primary responsibility to negotiate contract terms and conditions
  • Organizing and implementing electronic contract management system
  • Updating and maintain subcontractor and vendor contract data base
  • Assist General Counsel with federal government compliance requirements

Required education

  •  Bachelor's in Political Science, Accounting, Construction Management, or Engineering

Required Experience  

  • 5+ years of negotiating and managing contracts and subcontracts in the construction industry; experience with federal procurement preferred

Preferred Education and Certification

  • MBA or JD
  • PE License if Engineer

Preferred Experience

Experience with federal procurement preferred

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, and photocopiers.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Some travel may be required if deemed necessary.
